Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass

Dear Readers,

Welcome to the 1st Anniversary of HR News and Views! I am really delighted to be bringing out this special issue.

This newsletter is to express my gratitude in taking the time to read this newsletter.

Many of you may be familiar with the adventures of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ and ‘Through the looking Glass’ by Lewis Carroll. This e-zine is a compilation of some of my favourite quotes from the book. The quotes are all about having FUN, staying CURIOUS, seeking ADVICE, living LIFE PASSIONATELY, believing in the IMPOSSIBLE, embracing CHANGE!!

Both the books and illustrations are available as a part of Project Gutenberg, the first and largest single collection of free electronic books. (www.gutenberg.org)

A special thanks to Ms Lenny de Rooy at www.alice-in-wonderland.net who has created a wonderful site dedicated to the adventures of Alice and was a wonderful source of reference for me. The original Tenniel illustrations (that you see here) and the complete texts of the books are available at her site.

I can’t resist but quote from the book; “Make a remark,” said the Red Queen: “it’s ridiculous to leave all the conversation to the pudding!”

I look forward to hearing from you.

Enjoy, Have Fun,
Deepa
