Welcome to this ‘Sarai’.

Ancient India had many ‘Sarais’; a Hindi name for shelter. These would be located along long routes used by caravans. In ‘Sarais’ travellers could break a journey, take rest, catch up on the news, exchange views, interact and get rejuvenated before continuing on their journeys.

I would like my fellow journey men to discover this Sarai along the information highway. Share their thoughts, and take a few ideas before continuing their quest.

Here are some reasons why I have decided to plunge and join the growing band of bloggers.

There is a certain intimacy about a blog, a conversation among likeminded people where I too want to jump in and add my thoughts

I feel like ‘Alice in Wonderland’. I want to share the nuggets of my discoveries.

Blogging allows you to provide capsule size information, just like in a conversation. I don’t have to make an effort or force myself to read. I soak in as much as I want, when I want. A great way to learn.

And finally when you read of a 78 year old blogger (http://mymomsblog.blogspot.com), you just don’t want to miss the boat.
